The Boathouse, The Landing

Wonderful location on the water and a beautiful property. Positive: The sensational location on the water and we loved watching the ferries from our wonderful deck. The property was very large and beautifully furnished and equipped. We loved it there and we really liked the Bay of Islands area, Opua and Paihia. Negative: The WiFi seemed to be a problem when we arrived but John came out and tried to sort it out. With the use of the upstairs password and the community WiFi we managed fine from then onwards.

Wonderful! Positive: Fabulous location and beautiful apartment

A beautiful home in a stunning location. Positive: The home itself is well catered for. We bring some kitchen appliances to make life a little easier. The location is handy to Russell, and not too far from Paihia and Kerikeri. Being on the water is exceptional. You can fish off the jetty and paddle board around the bay. Other people find the Russell ferry too noisy. We love it! Very entertaining. Negative: The property itself is great and has everything you need. The cost to stay however has doubled in a year. We stayed for 6 nights Jan 2025 and for 9 nights this year; unfortunately this will be our last stay.
