Paihia Coastal 2 Bedroom Cottages

We loved this accommodation - great location and superbly well set up. Positive: This holiday cottage was a great find. So well located, only 5 minutes from Paihia and close to the Haruru Falls and coastal walking track. The cottage itself was very well set up with a full kitchen, nice bathroom, spacious lounge and 2 bedrooms with very comfy beds. Nice touches like Nespresso machine with plenty of pods and even a block of chocolate in the fridge! Would highly recommend.

We rented 2 cottages - a great place for a 3 night stay for a young family and grandparents Positive: Perfect place for a 3 night stay to visit the historic landmarks in the area eg Waitangi Treaty grounds, Kerikeri and Russell. Kitchen well-equipped for meal making and the beds were comfortable. Negative: There was no vacuum cleaner, broom or even a broom and dustpan which we needed for a 3 night stay with small children, despite being a very well-equipped cottage otherwise with a very good use of space and storage. The turn in and out of the driveway was a bit tight and on a hill!

A great little cottage for a small family. Positive: Very clean and comfortable. Well stocked with supplies, including some treats. Negative: We arrived on a hot day and the cottage was extremely hot inside. We had to put the air con on and go out again for an hour or so until it cooled down. It would have been helpful if the air con was put on a couple of hours before our scheduled arrival time. The second bedroom was very small for two kids and all their stuff but we managed.
