Paihia Waterfront Luxury Apartment with Pool

Our apartment was on third floor and while it was a surprise to find elevator only went to 1st floor a lovely employee g Positive: Beds great, facilities excellent, well equipped in respect of kitchen etc great glimpses out to water but the best part was the location - near the shops and jetty. Lovely pool as well. Thank you.

Cute place Positive: Location was great but be prepared for stairs. Lift only goes from garage to first floor then you carry two floghts up from there. Negative: Early morning (before sunrise) town trash pickup Monday morning is right outside one of the bedrooms. Truck came by twice and stayed a half hour each time.

This place is lovely, has the location but you better like it hot. Positive: The property is lovely. Its location is perfect, very close to the wharf and restaurants. The beds are really comfortable. I enjoyed sitting on the patio enjoying my morning coffee. It has a Nespresso machine!!! John met us at check in and helped unload our luggage and get settled. Above and beyond! Negative: While we were in Piahia, it was hot. The apartment was on the third floor and it too was hot. I booked it as it said it had air conditioning. It did but only in the main room. We are from Canada and when something says it has air conditioning our expectation is that the whole property has it. Perhaps a cultural thing. The two bedrooms remained very hot and thus sleeping was difficult. There was a fan so we set up between our bedrooms oscillating back and forth trying to funnel some the cool air through our open bedroom doors. There is a restaurant behind the property and the 7:30 am bottle pick up is loud. The property is in need of a large pot. We tried to make pasta but there wasn’t a pot big enough to boil pasta.
